MYSTIC ENDING SEQUENCE

This was created by my team; myself and Jordan Langi (Audio). For this project, it was a purely self learning project on how to create a hypothetical ending sequence in a professional but interesting way between 30-60 seconds. I found ending credits are usually discarded because theyre boring and doesnt have much "action", unless there is something waiting to happen such as post credits, or bloopers, or another form of moving imagery. Using my knowledge and abilities, I used my daily drawings to fulfil my ending sequence. The way I executed my credits was inspired by the Dragon Prince and RWBY in a very story book-like effect. GEMSTONE QUARRY | World Builders Cinematic Trailer

This is Project completed all in Animate and Photoshop, the main focus on the World Builders Cinematic Trailer was to create a hypothetical animation pipeline of our own story as well as learning new teamwork and consistency in art styles. Look Book Here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1bUUpNYwGCH01NHYNjKyrgUddgNZQNY9LrrDUvf29P90/edit?usp=sharing Full Project Executive Summary (Read at you own risk XD): Project Objective The objective of the group, The Glow Worms, is to create both a Look Book and a Teaser Trailer based on a 2D digital Hand-drawn stop motion animation. The environment will be set in 2100, where Johnny Randy, an adventurer, ventures off to find a cave of wonder, rumoured to be a home to glow-in-the dark creatures, unknown and untouched by humans. Our main goal when building this environment will be to create a convincing scene on untouched land in the future, as well as, hiking gear with futuristic elements: The radar, orange jumpsuit with inbuilt heaters, and inbuilt snack department. Project Overview Synopsis In the year 2100, an adventurer, Johnny Randy, heard rumours about a cave full of wonders containing a secret the world was not ready for. He decides to go exploring in a mountainous terrain to discover this cave - the hard thing is, there are caves everywhere. While searching the mountain it begins to rain forcing him to take cover in a nearby cave for shelter. He then starts searching through the cave while holding a torch. Distracted by the radar, he takes a step and doesn't realise he’s missteps, causing Johnny to fall down. The torch breaks. As it blacks out, Johnny sees a cave full of glowing creatures and minerals and fantasy-based insects. After a few seconds at looking at the breathtaking scene. The Environment Inside the cave. The walls of the dimly lit cave are brownish grey, with natural erosion and the occasional dull, grey crystal of no worth. Skittering, chirping noises can be heard, as well as the occasional echoing drip. Inside the cavern, the the character falls down - the torch breaks and flickers out. However, one by one, gemstones, alien mushrooms and large, insect-like creatures start glowing different colours, including purple, red, aqua, green and yellow. The creatures fly and skitter by minding their own business. The walls of the cave remain to be a brownish grey with natural erosion, but being in a natural cavern with water dripping seen in the background. The Civilisation At some point in the 1900’s on Earth, new, highly advanced technologies were created extremely rapidly, to the point of space travel. Now, 200 years later in the year 2100, Earth now travels across the stars with the aid of space faring vessels, seeking new planets to explore and research. The era of the early 1900s has been celebrated and remembered as the greatest years of mankind, to the point where fashions, artwork, values and architecture has been preserved and idolised. It’s become quite common for the bravest individuals to go out and explore the planets across the galaxy as well. Creatures & Natural Elements For the creatures and natural elements, we plan on having rock formations all over the cave with rock fragments on the ground. Around the final scene we will have glowing alien-like creatures, plants and crystals. There will be a diversity of animals and all of them will have different shapes and sizes. There will also be a variety of plants glowing but not too many to ensure it doesn't take all the attention from the main focus point. We may also add a firefly particle effect Statement of intention Life is what you can find and not what is expected of you to do. Logline Explorer on a distant planet he finds the cave he is looking for however it's more than he could have hoped. Adventures of Jae and Xod - Dead Awake | Rapid Production

This is Project completed all in 3Ds Max with Arnold lighting, the main focus on the Rapid Project was to create a full animation pipeline with character lip-sync animation. As well as learning new settings, tools and modelling skills. Full Project Executive Summary (Read at you own risk XD): Project Objective The objective of this project is to create a 5-10 second animation with a full pipeline animation within a span of 6 weeks. This project will test out ability to scope down and meet milestones throughout the project. Using 3Ds Max and Premiere Pro. Project Overview Synopsis Dead Awake is a 3D animation comedy short, consisting of a 5-10 seconds long. Xod and Jae are put together in a 2-person dormitory as they arrive at their academy. That night, Jae stays awake all night, bloodshot eyes and eye twitch as he tries to sleep with Xod’s loud snoring and grunting in his sleep next to him. Summary This is a comedy short about Xod who is snoring so loudly that his roommate Jae is dead awake with bloodshot eyes and eye twitching - whos trying to sleep. Statement of intention The intention of this short is to create a humanistic monster with feelings as they too have to deal with society problems such as sharing a room with another person you do not know. This short is targeted at teenagers of 13-17 year olds and anyone else who is interested in short skits. The purpose behind this short is for creating a quick connection between the audience and the character within a span of 5-10 seconds, using the plasticy and shiny artstyle of characters. Logline Discover what happens when Jae takes action to fall asleep when Xod is keeping him up. SPECIALISATION COMPILATION | 3D Character Modeling and Custom Rigging

For this Specialisation Project, I decided to do a death trap for my SAE Qantm Institute work (;゚д゚) Creating 4 Specialisation Pieces from scratch and all custom rigged. What I ended up creating was every model was created from scratch in 3Ds Max, took it into Maya for custom rigging and extra FX such as nCloth and Fibre Hairs with Xgen. With the exception of the Pikachu which was created in 3Ds Max, then Mudbox for sculpting, then Maya for Rigging and Skinning. Whilst I only had about 5-6 weeks to create these pieces, Ive learnt a lot in terms of my capabilities in my technical field in 3D softwares. I wanted to test myself in these weeks to see if I can go beyond my limits and create characters I had never thought I could do. I've completely and utterly exhausted myself in doing so _(:3」∠)_ I'm more of a 2D creator at heart, however, during this project, I really changed my mindset and attitude towards 3D softwares - To other people it may sound weird or strange but this is how I felt about it: I had to stop thinking like a 2D creator but as a 3D creator and telling myself verbally out loud that I CAN do 3D stuff. And forcing myself to talk myself into something Im not very familiar with. Doing Maya was good for me because I thought to myself that I was ready for a much more bigger project and was able to create more advanced level of 3D. Along the way I noticed amongst all my research and findings within Maya was, Maya love hierarchies. If you understand that, then it makes things in Maya so much easier. Besides from using a lot of Maya in this project and understanding a lot more how 3D softwares work in general. I know I have a lot to learn and still have a longgggg way to go in this area, Im willing to keep polishing up my work and learning new things as I continue down this path. And quite frantically, that's what I should be doing now - Polishing up my work and getting more practise ヾ(^^ゞ) Whether I want to just specialise in JUST 2D or 3D is a different story.
