A Little More About Me
My name is Alison Evans, and I am a multi-disciplinary artist with a background in animation, illustration, design, and digital marketing.
I was born in 1998, and grew up in Australia with a mix cultural background. Ever since I was young, I have loved drawing, creating, and bringing ideas to life - It was a passion that I couldn't explain. Throughout my life, I have been exposed to all sorts of experiences, people, and stories.
Much of my artistic journey began through self-teaching, and over time that passion naturally grew into a deeper love for storytelling, visual design, and creative media.
It eventually led me to study at a Bachelor of Animation at SAE Qantm, where I was able to explore a wide range of creative disciplines and develop my skills further within the Creative Media Industry. I was engrossed with the world of animation and how it became an art that lead me to pursue as an animator.
As my creative jounrney has grown, so have my interests. I have explored 2D and 3D animation, illustration, character-focused work, digital design, and everything in-between. Each area has helped shape me into the type of creative person I am today.
I'm the kind of person who wanted to pursue my education and surpassing my limits with a can-do attitude - I love learning new things, experimenting with different mediums, and finding new ways to turn ideas into something meaningful and expressive.
Alongside my artistic practice, I also discovered a strong interest in digital marketing. What began as curiousity gradually became another creative outlet for me, giving me the change to understand how ideas, projects, and businesses can be shared, supported, and connected with the right audience - It has only added another layer to how I think creatively.
I take pride in always growing, refining my skills, and giving each project my best. Whether I am working on animation, illustration, design, or a collaborative project, I always want to create something I can look on with genuine confidence. For every project I create, I want to be able to look back on it and say:
"Yes. I made that. And I'm proud of it".
In the long-term, I hope to keep growing as an artist, continue expanding my creative practice and one day create my own webtoon series, films, and games. Most of all, my biggest goal is to bring creative joy and inspiration in others.
I believe there is a story in every person.
Outside of my creative work, I enjoy travelling, reading, cooking, playing games, spending quality family time, and of course, drinking far too much tea!
